can't give up
must hold on

half the prayers answered
the other half forget
it's all very real

pebbles that support
mountains contradict
and tunnel vision facilitates
just another test of faith

fear and human nature
frighten off the truth
as bravery escapes death
just another test of faith

and emotions need a meal
reality just can't provide
so no choice but endure
yet another test of faith

and I recognize
her deceptive eyes.
